Before we head to Charleston, SC for two months, Dylan and I headed back to Jersey to spend time with my family. In the beginning of the week we went down the shore to Atlantic City for a few days. Now I normally never stay in AC when I go to the shore, I’m usually an Ocean City girl but the new casino and hotel, the Revel, is what changed that. All I can say is that’s the only place I’ll stay when in AC. Hands down, the Revel is done right! We never even made it to the beach because we didn’t want to leave their amenities. The rooms were modern and not overdone. I loved how you just waived your room key in front of your door to unlock it. Lock sliders are so outdated at this point with all the technology our world has. The main spaces in the hotel were just glass windows, floor to ceiling. The place is so sleek and very open. The indoor and outdoor pools are great and one of the days my sister rented a cabana at the private pool. Totally worth it. Dylan’s first pool experience has really raised the bar for his future ones
I personally didn’t experience it but my sister purchased a massage at their spa and she said that her experience there was the best she’s ever had.
It was really great to see my father with Dylan together on the boardwalk for the first time. It made me think of how much I really miss my mom and how much she has missed and is missing. At least Dylan has his Grandpa, Aunt Mimi and Uncle Jesse to represent my family to him and I’m grateful for that. Below is a bunch of pictures, enjoy them and one thing I know is that we’ll be back to the Revel again!

Also, here’s some Instagram shots I took that day.

That place looks amazing! Looks like you and Dylan had a great time! LOVED the pictures! Can’t wait to see you guys.
