Last Friday Dylan, Ollie and I headed to Frick Park to get some exercise. Frick park is the largest of Pittsburgh’s regional parks at 561 acres and it’s really, really beautiful. We enjoyed the Squirrel Hill end of the park and ended up hiking in the wooded trails by the Environmental Center. I came across a bench that I absolutely LOVED! It was sort of random in it’s placement since there were no other benches around but I loved the look of it. I took two photos of it for my Instagram, one with Ollie and one just by itself.
I ended up taking out my Canon and shooting some photos of Dylan on a blanket and also some self-timer ones of us three. I’m a huge fan of self-timer since I like to join my boys in a snapshot every now and again. As usual, Dylan was a ham for the lens and I couldn’t stop snapping away. When Sunday rolled around we went to Frick Park again, this time Jeremy joined us. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed a lazy Saturday afternoon together as a family.
